Hi there 👋🏼

I'm Bora, the founder of ChamCham Sauce.

As a busy mum, cooking at home was always a challenge—especially during those lockdown days with a little one constantly by my side. The hardest part? Getting the flavour right. I tried countless Korean sauces, but most mass-produced options were full of additives and lacked the depth and authenticity I was craving. I found myself reaching for multiple condiments and spices just to create one dish.

That’s when I turned to my husband, Jake—a professional chef with over 17 years of experience (can you imagine the pressure I felt cooking for him?). I asked him to create some sauces that were easy to use, versatile, and full of real Korean flavour. He got to work and made a few traditional Korean sauces with his own unique twist—and I loved them. Suddenly, I could make restaurant-quality meals at home, with minimal effort. They saved me so much time and money.

It reminded me of when we ran a restaurant together. Our regulars used to call Jake the “sauce master” and would often ask if we sold his sauces. That always stuck with me. After some quick market research, I realised there were almost no gourmet Korean sauces available in Australia—so I decided it was time to share ours with the world.

After many rounds of testing (and tasting), we launched the ChamCham Trio:
